Dr. Elnaz Roshan Head of XDC Model Development
I hold a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. pol) in economics from the University of Hamburg and International Max Planck Research School on Earth System Modelling. My research has focused on economic evaluation of mitigation and solar geoengineering considering climate response uncertainty and solar geoengineering side-effects. I’m experienced in integrated assessment modeling, decision-making under uncertainty, climate policy analysis, and dynamical optimization.
As a model developer at right° I develop concepts for new features and components of the XDC Model for different use cases. This includes reviewing and synthesizing relevant scientific reports and research, developing and calibrating the model. Furthermore, I am looking into further methodological and conceptual improvements in the XDC Model.
At right° I see the impact of my research & development on decision-making in the corporate and financial world.
