Lead Methodology & Scientific Validation (m/f/d)
Full time starting November 2026
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Office presence)
right° is a pioneering company at the interface of technology, science and entrepreneurial management. With our XDC metric, we have established an internationally compatible methodology that enables companies to understand and manage their climate impact in an economically relevant form – directly in °C.
At the heart of it all is our science-based XDC-Model: a bridge between climate science, economics and capital market logic. It translates physical realities into entrepreneurial decision-making ability – precise, connectable and programmable. With the increasing relevance of our methodology, the demand for its structural robustness, validation and further development grows. We are at the point where scientific depth, methodological excellence and technical feasibility must be systematically brought together – including a perspective opening of the model as an open-source approach.
right° stands for strategic depth, operational excellence and effectiveness at the system level. We work with leading companies from the DAX family, hidden champions, investors and transformation managers. Our claim is not reporting, but structural impact.
For the next stage of development of our XDC-Model, we are looking for a personality who combines scientific substance with implementation strength and is willing to take on methodological responsibility at the highest level.
Your mission:
You will take on methodological responsibility for the next stage of development of the XDC-Model.
In concrete terms, this means:
- Systematic review and further development of the XDC methodology
- Initiation and management of a peer review or comparable validation process
- Structured revision of scientific documentation
- Translating methodological requirements into clear specifications for our tech team
- Identification of potential for improvement and further development – scientifically sound and practice-relevant
- Perspective: Co-development and structuring of the XDC-Model as an open-source project
- Methodological sparring partner for management, product and engineering
You will be at the intersection of: Climate science × economics × software × capital market × regulation × practical requirements of our clients.
What you can expect from us:
- Impact: A central role with real creative power
- Salary: Fair remuneration with a long-term perspective.
- Challenge: Direct sparring with the management
- Expertise: A highly ambitious, performance-oriented environment
- Substance before show: A company that has grown through bootstrapping
- Relevance: The opportunity to structurally shape a scientifically relevant model
- Perspective: Co-creation of an open-source standard for climate impact assessment
Who we are looking for:
We are not looking for a classic specialist. We are looking for a mature, analytically outstanding personality with substance.
Ideally, you have:
1. Professional
a. Deep understanding of at least two of the following areas:

f. Ambition to make a difference
We are looking for someone with 10-20 years of professional experience who thinks both analytically and strategically. You don't have to come from the classic startup world. But you have to want to keep up with the energy and the pace.
Location: Frankfurt am Main
Hybrid working is possible, but methodical leadership responsibility requires substantial presence.
If you feel addressed, please send us:

We look forward to receiving your application!
